PIN GRADES

A GRADE
Flawless or nearly flawless when looking at the pin face-on without magnification. Very fine scratches from the polishing process which can be seen only at an angle, and a small bit of screenprint or enamel on the metal are not considered flaws. Any small flaws on A Grades can only be seen by tilting the pin under a light source, and cannot be seen once the pin is held at arm’s length. Issues with plating on the sides or back of the pin which are not visible when looking at the pin face-on do not detract from the pin being an A Grade.

B GRADE
1-2 flaws of this type: pinprick in enamel, small bubble in enamel, small fleck of paint in a wrong location, small screenprint error, small dent, scratch or plating error that is visible but doesn’t detract from pin’s overall aesthetic.

C GRADE
We rarely sell C Grades, but when we do, a specific photo of the C Grade pin will be included in the listing photos.
